When Buddy’s guardian was suddenly hospitalized, Buddy was left home alone with no one to care for him. He entered PAWS NY’s Foster & Emergency Care Program, where he could stay safe while his guardian focused on recovery.
Then Buddy faced a crisis of his own. He developed a persistent cough, struggled to breathe, and was rushed to the emergency room. After several days of testing, treatment, medication, and careful monitoring, Buddy finally began to improve.
Today, more than a month after entering foster care, Buddy is out of the hospital and thriving in a loving foster home while he waits to be reunited with his beloved guardian. But Buddy’s care is only possible because of supporters like you.
As our fiscal year comes to a close on June 30, we're working to raise $10,000 to ensure pets like Buddy continue to receive emergency foster care, veterinary treatment, and the support they need when crisis strikes.
